Throw on a no-fuss outfit with minimal jewelry and some easy-to-move in sandals. This chambray shirt is perfect- light and airy and completely versatile. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I've only recently discovered just how versatile they are. They are the perfect balance to a colorful bottom half. If you don't have one, head to your nearest retail district immediately and buy one. Immediately. If you're more on the graceful side, pull on something along the lines of this fabulously striped nautical dress from J. Crew. You may need to sit on a bench for this one.
Unsure of what to whip up to throw in your picnic basket? Follow suit from the Mediterranean and make a fresh Greek couscous salad (feta and olives- delicious!) and a grilled vegetable and hummus wrap. Don't forget a watermelon- they are perfect at this time of the season.
Hurry- grab a blanket and go before summer runs its course!
Yeah... picnics in August are not the most pleasant things in the world. You definitely need to go in May/June when it's a little cooler. I love the outfits, Hun!

I love both outfits! I would wear either of them in a second. I'm glad we did a whole bunch of picnics earlier in April and May...now its just too hot here in Dallas.
